Christmas has come early for a "wonkey-donkey" who's had a new prosthetic limb fitted.
Nine year-old Tommy, who lives on a farm in Hillside, Worcestershire, has had his life saved after spending a lot of his life on a slant.
He was born with a deformed front right leg which has impacted his health.
It's believed to be the first prosthetic limb made for an animal in the UK which will help Tommy walk more comfortably.
Tommy's osteopath, Tony Nevin, said: "It's fantastic he's already got an attachment to it so he doesn't see it as something horrible.
"It was either fit this prosthetic or just wait for him to basically not be able to move."
A team of prosthetic specialists from Dorset, who usually work with paralympic atheletes and car crash victims, helped create the new bespoke limb.
Speaking to Sky News, Tomm'y owner Gary said, "I'd heard about the great work being done by Matt Hughes and his team at Dorset Orthopaedic and thought it might be a challenge they would take on.
"Thankfully with a lot of time and effort Tommy is now back on all fours and enjoying his new found mobility."
