A bowler from Worcestershire is set to represent England at the International Bowls for the Disabled World Championships this month.

Jack Pullin recently made his international debut last August at the Men’s Para Pairs competition at the World Championships in Australia.

The 29-year-old says it's a dream coming true getting to represent his country.

"It's just incredible," he said.

"I can't believe how far I've come, from being just a club bowler to now being able to play at an international level, it's just been such a fantastic experience.

"The sport is just so great, and it's not just about the competitiveness either because the social side to things has allowed me to make so many friends from it all."

Jack started playing bowls when he was nine-years-old after his dad invited him to take part in a game.

He said: "I tried football and most other sports before I ended up finding bowling.

"My dad was playing at the time and he asked me if I wanted to go to a competition with him, so I went along and quite enjoyed it, and since then I've never looked back.

"When I started though I never dreamt that one day I would play for England, and I'm really excited to get the chance to do it all over again."

The tournament starts in South Africa on 18th May.
