Worcester Warriors have put out a call for fans and the local community to support the future of the Women's team ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The club battled back from the brink of liquidation - alongside sports management company Cube International - to secure the team's future.

In a statement on their website, the club say Worcester Women are embarking on a 10-year plan to become sustainable and independent - in order to regularly fight in the top -half of the Allianz Premier 15s league.

They also say they want to create a pathway from academy to first-team to international recognition.

But - the Warriors warn the club can't achieve ambitions alone and are calling for the help of fans and local communities despite being in "discussions with commercial partners for the 2023/24 season."

The club are looking to raise £50,000 to enable the team to focus on gaining long-term commercial funding that will directly support fans through an improvement of matchday experiences.

The Warriors also say in the statement that the funding will also lift the quality of the team and resources.
