Worcester Warriors are proud to announce that the East stand at Sixways Stadium will be named in honour of Cecil Duckworth CBE, the visionary whose passion and commitment laid the foundations for professional rugby in Worcester.

Cecil was the driving force behind the transformation of Worcester Warriors, leading the club from its amateur roots into a professional era and inspiring the creation of Sixways as a home for rugby, community, and ambition. His vision, generosity, and unwavering belief in what the club could achieve have left an enduring legacy not only in sport, but also in the city and wider county.
