Woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Hereford
A man was found with stab wounds yesterday afternoon (10th April)
A woman's been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Hereford.
Police were called to Hunderton Avenue at around 2.30pm yesterday (Thursday 10th April).
A 48 year old man was found in an address with stab wounds, and taken to hospital.
He's suffered serious injuries but they're not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A 50 year old woman was arrested shortly afterwards at the disused railway track known as The Lines.
She remains in custody at this time.
Detective Inspector Ben Pearson from Hereford CID said: “We understand this incident is likely to cause concern locally, but we would like to provide reassurance that we are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident at this time.
“Our Safer Neighbourhood Teams will be carrying out additional patrols in the area and residents can expect to see an increased police presence on Hunderton Road, The Lines and in the surrounding areas while our enquiries continue.
“Although we are not looking for anyone else at this time, we are keen to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident which could assist with our investigation.”
