Two Upton men arrested over suspected drug dealing

Police found a large quantity of class A drugs suspected to be crack cocaine and heroin near the New Street area.

Two men have been arrested over suspected drug dealing in Upton-upon-Severn after officers attended an address in the town on Thursday (28 August).

Officers received a report from a member of the public stating they had witnessed a suspected drug deal in the New Street area.

Police then attended an address near the location around 2pm and found a large quantity of class A drugs suspected to be crack cocaine and heroin, including a bag full of wraps that had been thrown out of a room on to the ground below.

Two 18-year-old men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

They have been released on police bail under investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
