Two Hereford men charged with multiple burglary and violent disorder offences

It relates to incidents from December 2023 and March 2024.

Two men have been charged with multiple burglary and violent disorder offences in Hereford and will be appearing at crown court in October.

James Smith, 31, of The Bines, Cleehonger, Hereford and Tyrone Ellis, 22, of no fixed abode, appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Both were charged with five counts of burglary non-dwelling, one count of burglary dwelling and one count of theft of a trailer relating to incidents in Hereford between December 2023 and March 2024.

They were further charged with offences relating to a violent disorder in Hereford on 15 April 2024.

Smith was charged with assault, possession of an offensive weapon, affray and two counts of criminal damage.

Ellis was charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of criminal damage.

They were bailed by magistrates yesterday to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday 16 October.
