Rail services have resumed this morning (Wednesday 30th April) between Hereford and Shrewsbury following urgent repair work.

The line had been shut fully since Friday (25th April) after a collapsed culvert was discovered.

In a statement, Transport of Wales said:

"Rail services have resumed this morning between Hereford and Shrewsbury, as well as Llandrindod to Shrewsbury, following urgent repair work.

"We'd like to thank customers for their patience and advise people to continue to check before travelling."

Network Rail have said they're continuing to investigate the cause of the collapse.
