A 14 year old boy from Stourport has been banned from two shopping areas, unless he's with a responsible adult.

Barrie Smith from Broomy Close has been handed a Criminal Behaviour Order by Worcester Youth Court this week (Wednesday 21st May).

That prohibits him from entering any store on Lombard Street or Queens Road without an adult for the next 12 months.

He's also banned from being with four named individuals in a public place, who can't be name here for legal reasons.

West Mercia Police applied for the order due to Smith's involvement in local anti-social behaviour, and its impact on residents and businesses.

Anyone who sees him breaching the terms is asked to call police on 999 if it's ongoing at the time.

Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Wyre Forest Daniel Poucher said: “This a positive step towards tackling ongoing antisocial behaviour in Stourport on Severn.

“The local Safer Neighbourhood Team is continuing to work hard to support the community and address the issue by stopping those responsible. This behaviour is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.”
