Stourport paddling pool closed until 2026

The riverside paddling pool in Stourport will not be open this summer and won't be in use until next year.

This is due to repair work needing to be carried out on the pipes underneath the pool

The local council stated on social media:

"The paddling pool will re-open at the start of Summer 2026. Our contractors have advised that a sustained period of clear, dry weather will be necessary to re-lay the pool’s surface. Given its location near the River Severn, there is a possibility that flooding may further impact the timeline.

"Stourport-on-Severn Town Council would like to reassure residents and visitors that we take our responsibilities seriously. This decision was not made lightly and has undergone full and careful consideration."
