Storm Bert is set to cause chaos this weekend across the UK, triggering a flood of weather warnings across the country.

A yellow warning for rain has been issued for Hereford, it's set to stay in force all day Saturday and into Sunday morning.

Forecasts of heavy rain and strong winds have already seen some events cancelled in the region.

Bromsgrove Christmas lights switch on has been cancelled later and the St John's Christmas Market will be closed today.

While the Lantern Parade in Worcester's been called off due to the bad weather set to hit.

Kidderminster Harriers also get the day off today in National League North, their match has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at Scarborough Athletic's ground.

Worcestershire County Council is urging residents to be wary of flooding, with flood pumps installed on Hylton Road in Worcester as a precaution.

Locals are also asked to report any fallen trees or debris they see to the council website.
