Police still searching River Wye for missing Hereford man
Sean Day is thought to have gone into the water in the early hours of last Saturday
Nearly a week after he went into the River Wye in Hereford, West Mercia Police say they're still searching for a 29 year-old man.
Sean Day is thought to have entered the water, just after midnight last Saturday morning.
Officers are still asking anyone who saw anything around Victoria Bridge around that time to call them on 101.
Their appeal also applies to anyone who saw a fight in the city centre on Friday night.
They want anyone who was in the Quay Street/Castle Green area of Hereford between the hours of 10:30pm on Friday 28th July and 12:30am on Saturday 29th July who may have seen or heard a disturbance or person in distress near to the riverside to get in contact.
Three men, who had been arrested on suspicion of murder, were released over the weekend on police bail, while enquires continue.
We've been told searches of the River Wye are ongoing.
