Worcestershire’s on demand bus service is set to reach more communities later this year.

From November, areas like Hartlebury and Ombersley will be added.

Parts of the Wyre Forest will be also added in 2026, including Bewdley, Stourport and Tenbury Wells.

At the moment, the demand zones are only in Bromsgrove, Malvern and Wychavon.

Passengers can book their journeys through an app, with the council saying it wants to make public transport easier and more affordable for everyone.

Councillor Karl Perks, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Since becoming cabinet member, I’ve been extremely impressed with this service and I’m really keen to roll it out to as many people as possible across the county.

“With Wychavon’s recent launch and further expansions on the way, this is a big step forward in providing a sustainable, affordable, and user-friendly way to travel.”

The service runs Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
