At around 9.35am this morning a Kawasaki ZX 680 motorcycle collided with the roundabout between St Peter’s Drive and Norton Road in Worcester.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old man, sadly died at the scene.

Norton Road is likely to remain closed from the A4440 to the roundabout at the junctions of Crookbarrow Road and Talavera Road for several hours while forensic examinations continue and the vehicle is recovered.

West Mercia Police would like to hear from anyone who saw, or who has dashcam footage, of the collision itself or of the motorcycle in the minutes before it.

Anyone with information or footage is asked to contact Sergeant Paul Cooper on [email protected] or 07967 302009 quoting incident number 147 of 15 May.
