A 20-year-old man has died following a crash in Herefordshire on Bank Holiday Monday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service say they received calls reporting a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the A4112 in Kinnersley, Hereford, at 11.05am yesterday.

West Mercia Police say it involved a grey VW Passat and a red Honda CBR 650 motorbike, and are appealing for witnesses.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "“On arrival ambulance staff found a motorcyclist, a man, who was in a critical condition being cared for by an off-duty doctor.

"Sadly, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased on scene. No one else was injured in the collision.”
