Man named as murder investigation continues in Malvern
Paul Hart, 52, died after being found unconscious following an early morning altercation on Belle Vue Terrace
Police have named the man who died in Malvern at the weekend as 52-year-old Paul Hart.
Emergency services were called to Belle Vue Terrace in the early hours of Saturday (12th of July) after reports of an altercation. When officers arrived, Mr Hart was found unconscious on the ground.
He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of murder. The teenager was also arrested on suspicion of assault. Both have since been released on bail as investigations continue.
Detective Sergeant Shelly Aplin, from the Major Investigation Unit, said:
“Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the man who sadly lost his life on Saturday morning.
“It is imperative for the family that we get a clear understanding of what happened and that is why I am continuing to appeal to anybody who witnessed the events on Saturday morning to come forward.
