Man denies rape in grounds of Hereford Cathedral

A man from Hereford accused of rape and strangulation in the grounds of Hereford Cathedral has pleaded not guilty.

Christopher Filbrandt, 31, of Eign Mill , Hereford, is accused in relation to the incident that took place on July 12.

He pleaded not guilty at a hearing at Worcester Crown Court.

A trial date has been set for January 2026.
