Man denies causing death of boy, 6, and two women in Worcestershire crash

A man has denied causing the deaths of three people, including a six-year-old boy, in a crash in Worcestershire.

A grey BMW 3 Series and a white Ford Mondeo were involved in the collision on the A44 in Spetchley, on February 22.

Claire Adkins, aged 39, and Courtney Hemming, aged 26, who were in the Mondeo, died at the scene.

Six-year-old Leo Painter, also in the Mondeo, was rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but died a short time later.

Joe-Lewis Tyler, age 33 from Grenville Road, Worcester, was charged with three counts of causing death by dangerous driving, three counts of causing death whilst uninsured, one count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and aggravated vehicle taking.

Appearing at Worcester Crown Court today (15 April), Tyler pleaded not guilty to all eight counts against him.

A trial date has been set for the 27 August.
