Man due to appear in court after being charged with murder in Worcestershire

A man from Birmingham has been charged with murder, after the body of a woman was found on Wast Hills Lane in Hopwood, Worcestershire on the 27th May.
The woman has been named as 35-year-old Kerry Owen.
Alan Edney, aged 30, of Kenilworth Road, Birmingham has been charged with her murder and remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 31 May.
A 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.
Wast Hills Lane has now re-opened.
