Man charged after six year old among three killed in Spetchley crash

Police say two people were pronounced dead at the scene last month.

Detectives have charged a man with multiple offences following the death of three people - including a six year old child - in a crash in Worcestershire.

Police and paramedics were called to the A44 in Spetchley last month (22nd February) following a collision between a BMW 3 series and a Ford Mondeo.

The female 26 year old Mondeo driver, along with her 39 year old and 6 year old passengers, died from their injuries.

A 33 year old was arrested on Thursday in connection with the incident.

Joe Lewis-Tyler, of Grenville Road in Worcester has since been charged with multiple offences, including:

3 counts of causing death by dangerous driving, 3 counts of causing death whilst uninsured, 1 count of taking a vehicle without consent and 1 count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
