Man arrested on suspicion of rape in Hereford
The grounds at Hereford Cathedral will remain closed for the rest of today.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape following an incident in Hereford this morning.
Officers were called following a report that a woman had been sexually assaulted on the grounds of Hereford Cathedral at around 3am.
The man remains in custody whilst investigations continue.
The cathedral grounds are to remain closed for the rest of today.
