A man has been left in a critical condition in hospital following a serious collision in Kidderminster.

Officers from West Mercia Police were called to an incident taking place on Franche Road just after 10pm on Friday (March 15th) involving a Harley-Davidson motorbike and a Peugeot 2008 car.

When responders arrived at the scene, they found that a man in his 30s had been severely injured, requiring immediate medical attention.

The man - who was found to have been driving the motorbike - is believed to have crashed into the Peugeot - which had been parked at the time of the incident.

Enquiries revealed that the man had been driving along Franche Road, heading towards Habberly Road, when he came off the road and crashed into the car.

The man was taken to hospital shortly afterwards for his injuries and has since been described as being in a critical condition by police.

West Mercia Police have since launched an appeal for information and witnesses, urging anyone who may have any information that could help in their enquiries to come forward.

Anyone who may be able to help in their investigations can get in touch by contacting 101 and quoting incident reference number 505i from March 15th.
