Kidderminster man arrested on suspicion of drug dealing following raid

A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply following a targeted operation in Worcester.
Shortly after 9am yesterday morning, officers from South Worcestershire Proactive CID targeted a vehicle parked on Shrubbery Avenue, Worcester.
A 27-year-old man from Kidderminster was arrested from the vehicle on suspicion of being in possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Detective Inspector Dave Knight of South Worcestershire CID said: “A man has been arrested and a significant amount of suspected class A drugs has been seized and taken off the streets.
“South Worcestershire Proactive CID continue to target dealers nationally to protect the public of South Worcestershire from the dangers associated with drug dealing.”
The raid forms part of Operation Target, which sees West Mercia Police work closely with other forces and partners to tackle serious and organised crime and the harm it causes.
