Two men have been ordered to pay back more than £110,000 under the Proceeds of Crime Act after being caught growing cannabis in Hartlebury, near Kidderminster.

Police raided an industrial unit back in July 2022 following reports of a strong smell of cannabis and the sound of fans coming from inside the property.

Officers found 179 plants growing in three tents, complete with specialist equipment.

Empty drinks bottles left at the scene led to forensic teams identifying Luke Facer, from Kidderminster and Toby Rising, from Wolverhampton.

Both men were jailed for two years and six months for producing cannabis.

Confiscation hearings now rule that between both, they must pay back over £110,000 or serve an extra year in prison.
