Herefordshire are celebrating Armed Forces Day 2024 in Bromyard today with a family day out. A military parade will begin at midday in Tenbury Street Car park, go through town, and finish on the Town Green. There will be a service in St Peters Church in between at 12.30pm.

Also in Bromyard, shops and cafes will be decorated, music and entertainment will flood the streets, as well as flag-waving, stalls and military vehicles.

Herefordshire has showed their appreciation all week for the Armed Forces with celebrations everyday, including film screenings and flag-raising events taking place across the county.

Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June, falling this year on 29 June.

It is a chance to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving personnel to Service families, veterans and cadets.
