A fundraiser has been set up to help cover the costs of repair after three penguin sculptures were damaged in Worcester.

They were discovered yesterday morning, with one of the sculptures even being found in the River Severn.

They're part of St Richard's Hospice summer event of the Waddle of Worcester.

The initiative is aimed at raising vital funds for the hospice to care for it's patients.

At the end of the trail, the penguins will be auctioned off to fundraise more money to go towards the needed care of people in the hospice.

Worcester Ambassadors have set up a JustGiving page to rally the community to help cover the costs of repairing the vandalism.

The trail has been a target of the criminal activity multiple times.

So, far nearly four hundred pounds has been raised towards the cause.
