Four people have been arrested after disorder in Worcester.

Police were called to Cranham Drivearound 12.45pm yesterday.

A 17-year-old boy and three men aged 18, 18 and 29 - all from Worcester - who were in a vehicle were arrestedon suspicion of violent disorder. They remain in police custody.

Police say they don't believe there is any threat to the wider community.

Inspector Dan Poucher said: “Residents of Cranham Drive may have noticed an unusual police presence this afternoon while we conducted a thorough search of the area.

“I’d like to reassure residents that we don’t believe there is any wider threat to the community.

“Arrests were swiftly made and we have increased patrols in the area while our investigations continue.”
