Drug-dealing brothers sentenced to more than ten years in Worcester
Both were already serving sentences for GBH with intent.
A pair of drug-dealing brothers selling class A and B into the Worcester area have been handed sentences of more than 10 years combined following their conviction at court today.
Usman Omar Multani, aged 29, and Kaasim Mohammed Multani, 25, both previously of Westminster Road, Worcester, pleaded guilty at Worcester Crown Court following an investigation by our Serious and Organised Crime Unit (SOCU).
Usman Multani pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin, crack cocaine and cocaine between August 2016 and April 2018 and conspiracy to supply cannabis between September 2016 and February 2018.
He was sentenced to eight years in prison with a 20 per cent discount for an early guilty plea, reducing it to six years and four months.
His brother Kaasim Multani pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin, crack cocaine and cocaine between May 2016 and February 2017 and conspiracy to supply cannabis between September 2016 and February 2018.
He was sentenced to four years with a 20 per cent discount for his early guilty plea, reducing it to three years and two months.
Both were already serving sentences for GBH with intent. Usman Multani is serving nine and a half years while Kaasim Multan is serving eight years. The new terms will add an additional 32 months and 22 months respectively to those prison terms.
The Multani brothers and others were involved in organised drug dealing in Worcester and the surrounding areas.
