The death of a woman in Hereford at the weekend is no longer being treated as murder.

Emergency services attended an address in Cotton Meadows in Kingstone around 5.10pm on Saturday 5 August. A woman was taken to hospital where she sadly died.

West Mercia Police says a Home Office post mortem has now been carried out and it has been established the woman died of natural causes.

A 58-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has now been released without charge and will face no further action.

The woman’s death is no longer being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the corner.
