Appeal after collision in Worcester

It happened in the early hours of June 27.

West Mercia Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was seriously injured when he collided with the kerb on his electric bike in the early hours on Thursday 27 June.

The incident happened at around 12.37am on the roundabout of London Road, Spetchley Road and Whittington Road.

The cyclist, a 28-year-old man, was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he remains with serious but stable injuries.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or have dash-cam or video doorbell footage of it are asked to go to the police.
