A man's been arrested following a robbery and attempted robbery in Evesham

A man has been arrested following a robbery and attempted robbery in Evesham.

The arrests are in relation to a robbery at Ladbrokes in Evesham on Saturday evening (22 March) when a man walked into the shop with a knife and demanded money from the safe, leaving with a quantity of cash.

The man returned to the same store on Monday evening (24 March) and again demanded money, but this time left when the member of staff recognised him.

No one was injured during either of the incidents.

The 35-year-old has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
