12hr wait times continue at A&E departments in Hereford & Worcestershire

For the first time, NHS England have published data on the number of people attending A&E who have had to wait more than 12 hours before being admitted, transferred or discharged.

The figures are for February and cover both Wye Valley NHS Trust and Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS trust.

Figures show out of 2,235 people attending Wye Valley, 910 waited over 12 hours to be admitted, transferred or discharged - that's 17.4%

That figures was 14.7% of the 10,825 people attending Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust.

All data was rounded to the nearest five attendances and is provisional.

Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust topped the list with 31.3% of patients waiting over 12hrs, while
