The staff in the Children's Cancer Clinic at Worcestershire Royal Hospital wanted to give 12-year old Ewan a big celebration as he finished his cancer treatment, as he's been such a big inspiration to the team.

12-year old Ewen has been treated for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at the hospital for the last 3 and a half years.

After completing his treatment, the whole team on shift dressed up with wigs and outfits, and they asked a colleague who performs on stage as Freddie Mercury as part of a Queen tribute act to come along to sing for Ewan.

Children's Oncology Nurse Specialist, Dawn Forbes said: " Ewan's been such an entertainer from the start."

"He has brought us so much joy over the last few years, it's nice to repay some of it and make this memorable for him."

"If we can make it just a little bit more special for him, we are happy to do it!"
