Unexploded shell found in Knaresborough

It was discovered during a litter pick on Monday

An unexploded shell's been found during a litter pick in Knaresborough.

It was discovered around the Watermill Café on Wetherby Road on Monday morning (16 May).

Volunteers believe it was from WW1.

Emergency services were called to deal with the shell.
