Harrogate Town fell to a 1-0 home defeat to Salford City yesterday (19th December).

A 17th-minute goal from James Wilson was the only shot on target throughout the game.

Town manager Simon Weaver described it as an "honest shift" from his players.

He said: "At this level it just needs a bit more than that.

"We can't dispute the fact that the lads covered the ground and worked so hard.

"It was a disastrous goal to give away, and it clearly knocked us for 6 or 7 minutes after that."

Nearly 500 season ticket holders were in attendance at the EnviroVent Stadium.
