Heavy snowfall between Harrogate, Skipton and over the Yorkshire Dales is still causing traffic problems for drivers.

Drivers are being warned to take extra care when travelling as snow is forecast over the next few days.

In the late morning, gritters struggled to cope with the conditions, with one getting stuck and blocking the road between Skipton and Colne.

The A65 Addingham Wharfedale Road in Skipton is affected, as well as Silsden Road in Addingham and A59 Skipton Road.

There's reports of some drivers being stuck on the A59 due to the harsh conditions.

Emergency services and members of the public have been trying to help stranded drivers escape the snow or get to safety.
