Police searching for a missing pensioner from Harrogate have put out an urgent appeal, after she disappeared from her care home on Saturday (August 27).

Judith Holliday was seen on CCTV leaving the home at around 10:32am, before being spotted again at Harrogate bus station a short time after.

The last confirmed sighting of the 73-year-old was in Library Gardens in Harrogate town centre.

North Yorkshire Police said specialist resources are now being used in the search for Judith, including a police drone.

Officers said they're growing increasingly concerned for her, because she takes daily medication and they don't believe she has it with her.

Judith is described as white, thin build, approximately 5ft in height, with medium length grey bobbed hair. Judith was last seen wearing dark coloured trousers and a coat.
