Police find body in search for missing Whitby man
59 year old Christopher Roberts was last seen in August
Police searching for missing Whitby man Christopher Roberts have located a body.
Officers were called to a remote location in Harwood Dale by a member of the public on Sunday afternoon.
The 59-year-old was last seen on Tuesday 29 August when he left Scarborough Hospital wearing trousers and a hospital gown.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Although he has not been formally identified, Christopher's family have been informed. Police say their thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
Officers have also thanked everyone who supported their appeal to find him.
