One man seriously injured following crash between car and Parcelforce lorry near Skipton

A man's been seriously injured following a crash involved a car and a lorry on the A59 near Skipton.

At around 9.30pm on Friday 15 July 2022 a white Volvo C30 car carrying four people and a red Parcelforce articulated lorry collided at the crossroads at West Marton.

A passenger in the Volvo, a man in his 20’s, sustained life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance where he remains in a serious condition.

Roads policing officers are appealing for anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision, or the collision itself to get in touch.

Anyone who may have captured dash cam footage of the vehicles or the collision is urged to get in touch.
