Man seriously injured during burglary in Ilkley

A 71 year-old man's been seriously injured during a burglary in Ilkley.
It happened around 8pm last night on Brook Street - when the victim was assaulted by the suspect with what's believed to be a metal bracket.
He suffered serious head injuries and remains in hospital.
The suspect has been described as a white male, slim build, approximately 6ft, with mousey brown hair.
