Man arrested in connection to indecent exposure incident in North Yorkshire

A man's been arrested in connection to an indecent exposure incident on a residential street in York.

It happened behind a block of flats at Sirocco Court yesterday afternoon (3rd June).

The 27-year-old remains in custody for questioning.

Police said a member of the public tried to speak to a man, but he moved off before they had chance.

It is then believed he moved down towards a park area on Dodsworth Avenue.

North Yorkshire Police said:

"We are appealing for information about the man’s behaviour near Sirocco Court and Dodsworth Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.

"He is described as white and was wearing a blue baseball cap, black jacket and bottoms, with an orange sleeping bag over his shoulder.

"We urge witnesses or anyone with information surrounding this incident to come forward.
