Harrogate wedding planner sends 800 Christmas cards to Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson is set to receive 800 Christmas cards from one Harrogate wedding planner.
Lucy Wright is sending them directly to the Prime Minister to highlight how many people have been affected by coronavirus restrictions.
Each one represents the couples that couldn't get married and every supplier Lucy would have worked with this year.
She's joining others across the wedding industry in taking a stand, raising awareness of the impact covid-19 restrictions have had on the industry.
Lucy - who runs Lucy Wright Wedding and Events - says Government support hasn't been enough.
Each card Lucy will send to the Prime Minister will include facts and figures of what her couples and suppliers have lost throughout the pandemic.
There will also be a plea for Boris Johnson to relook at the figures and provide more help and support to those in the wedding industry.
Lucy has been telling us how the coronavirus restrictions have affected her and her business:
"It's been emotional and tough. As a parent, I've been dealing with home schooling, lockdown and all that worry and panic that it brings.
"But I have also become a counsellor and a mentor to help my brides. I've even supported brides that haven't even booked me, who were just wanting a five minute chat with some advice and help."

Lucy has told us it's not just the couples who are missing out on their big day - the coronavirus restriction also have an impact on all those in the supply chain who make weddings happen:
"We can't just suddenly switch it on and off. A florist has to order their flowers in plenty of time - caterers have to order their food in and get ready.
"Everything takes time planning it - you can't just say yes one week and no the next week. It's devastating for couples but suppliers too."
Lucy said for some suppliers, coronavirus has forced many to call it a day on their business:
"One of my long standing relationship with a marquee company - they went into liquidation which is extremely sad. They have worked so hard for 16 years and were expecting to have a bumper year but by March that was it - it was just down hill for them and there was no way they could survive. We are all suffering - the industry has taken a massive hit and there could be more companies that go under."
Lucy is now calling on the government in providing more help and support to the weddings industry.
