Suspected World War One bomb found near school in Harrogate
Police closed a road earlier
A suspected World War One bomb has been found near to a school in Harrogate.
North Yorkshire Police closed Rossett Avenue while investigations took place.
The road is near to Ashville College and Rosset School, and just off the major Yew Tree Lane route.
The shell was found to be "decommissioned" and police said there was no danger to the public.
The road has since reopened.
