Harrogate Hospital NHS Trust to finish giving second jabs to staff

Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust's coronavirus vaccination clinic for staff is due to finish giving second doses today (22 April).
The clinic opened on 4th January, with Compliance and Safety Officer Al Llewelyn the first to receive the Pfizer jab.
At the time, he told us: "It was painless. Everything went perfect. I'm overwhelmed and I'm so pleased that I've had the vaccine.
"The staff have been absolutely brilliant. They talked me through everything so I knew what was going on.
"I'm extremely happy with what I've got. I've just got to wait for the second one now.
"This is going to make such a huge difference. We've actually got some hope and it doesn't just mean a lot to me, it means a lot to everyone at Harrogate Hospital and the whole of the NHS."
Three and a half months later, the clinic is due to finish giving out second vaccine doses to staff.
The NHS Trust has thanked the healthcare workers who've run the service, paying tribute to their "enthusiasm and professionalism".
