Harrogate getting back into the Eurovision spirit after hosting the contest in 1982
Local party decorations shop say lots of people are getting ready to celebrate
People in Harrogate say they're delighted to see Eurovision once again being hosted in the UK.
The song contested was famously held at the Convention Centre in the Town back in 1982.
Sarah Butler workers at Party Fever and says it's been really busy as every one gets in the spirit: "To have it in the country is absolutely fantastic, it gives us a sense of belonging, and allows us to celebrate, which us Brits are really good at. A lot of people are having Eurovision parties and are making a thing of it, and I think it's really good, it's another thing for us to celebrate."
The Eurovision Song Contest will continue tonight as countries including Austria, Poland and Armenia take to the stage for the second semi-final.
Sixteen acts will compete, with only the top 10 progressing to the grand final on Saturday.
