It's hoped services will restart in a few weeks

A coronavirus outbreak has forced the closure of libraries in Harrogate and Knaresborough.
Councillor Greg White, executive member for libraries at North Yorkshire County Council, told a meeting on Wednesday libraries on Victoria Avenue and Market Place have been shut after several staff members tested positive.
He said staff and volunteers are now self-isolating and that it is hoped library services will restart “in a couple of weeks”.
Councillor White said: “Currently Harrogate and Knaresborough are closed. That is due to a Covid-19 outbreak amongst the staff which has caused other staff at those particular libraries to have to self-isolate along with the volunteers.
“We are doing what we can but we are not sure when we will be able to get those open.
“They will be open in a couple of weeks, hopefully.”
Libraries across North Yorkshire have not allowed any visitors during the second national lockdown, but customers were still able to collect books from the entrances.
Members could also book computers – but only for emergency use.
These services will not be available at Harrogate and Knaresborough until staff return.
