Flooding in North and West Yorkshire

There's been flooding in North and West Yorkshire after heavy rain over the weekend.

Nine people had to be rescued in Richmond this morning.

Several roads are still closed.

The River Wharfe burst its banks in Ilkley and Otley - where roads are also closed.

The River Ure has burst its banks in Ripon causing flooding in nearby fields.

Environment Agency flood warnings remain in place for the rivers Esk, Nidd, Ure and Wharfe.

North and West Yorkshire fire services are urging people not to drive through flooded roads.
