Harrogate cafe website falls over after TV appearance with Bake Off winner
Harrogate's legendary eatery Bettys has been sent into a spin after a TV appearance last night.
"First Dates" star Fred Siriex featured the cafe and its Fat Rascals on his new BBC2 series "Remarkable Places to Eat" on Tuesday evening with guest, "Great British Bake Off" winner Nadiya Hussein.
After tweeting that they do deliveries, Bettys were soon swamped with interest, so much so that their technology couldn't cope!
Things do seem to be back up and running as normal today now though!
