Body found in search for a missing man in North Yorkshire
The discovery was made by a member of the public in Bolton Abbey
Officers searching for a missing man from Essex have recovered a body from the River Wharfe in North Yorkshire.
The discovery was made by member of the public today (24th July) at Bolton Abbey.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, officers believe the body is of Anthony Smith.
Police say his family have been informed and they are not currently treating the death as suspicious.
