Urgent appeal to find missing Wetherby woman

It's thought Shirley Hustwit left her home early this morning

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for information to help trace a 66-year-old woman who has gone missing from her home in Wetherby.

Shirley Hustwit is believed to have left her home in Dearne Croft at about 6.30am this morning.

She is believed to be wearing a black anorak with a fur hood, black and white striped hooded jumper and dark trouser, possibly jeans.

There are concerns for her welfare.

Detective Inspector James Entwistle, of Leeds District CID, said: “We are concerned for Shirley’s welfare and urgently need to find her and check that she is OK.

“Officers are out searching the area and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen her or who has any information that could assist in tracing her.”
